My super healthy, clean-living blogging buddy Tamsin wrote an awesome post for a green smoothie.
I do like making milkshakes and smoothies for the kids but I don’t do it very often because washing up bits of blender is tedious. But The Husband picked a big crop of blackcurrants from the garden and they were a bit too tart to eat alone. The toddler’s face nearly turned inside out when she tasted one. So inspired by Tamsin’s efforts, I chucked them into the blender with a punnet of raspberries, a big squirt of honey and some milk.
I gave it a really good blitz and, hey presto!
A good way of getting some colourful, nutrient-packed goodness into the little ones.
