I have another review for you this week. This time from a new maker called Flutterby Fluff.
Shona is a lovely lady and already has a successful business in Shona’s Stitches, selling gorgeous children’s clothes and cloth nappies.
She is expanding her range to include cloth sanitary pads and sent me this one to test and review:
Cute fabric, no? The little heart-shaped snap is a lovely touch too. It’s an eleven-inch night pad with a flared back. It has a cotton top and a snazzy purple fleece backing fabric. The absorbent core has two layers of zorb, one of hemp fleece and one of PUL.
If I was going to be really picky, I do prefer a little extra length in my night pads but this is entirely personal preference. I’m a big girl and I like longer pads for better coverage.
The super dooper layers make it a fairly bulky pad but I quite like it when a night pad feels a bit thicker. This is so absorbent I had no worries about wearing it overnight, even without pre-washing. It was really comfy, didn’t move about at all and the extra snap means you can adjust it for a snug fit. And it washed really well with no staining or warping.
So pop over to Flutterby Fluff for a little looky-see. Shona will be more than happy to help you.
I was not paid for this post. I purchased this pad at a discounted price in return for an honest review.
