Lucy’s List – February (week 1)

Fish finger sandwiches. Food of the gods. Covers all the main food groups (that bit of lettuce totally counts). Mega cheap. What’s not to love? Years ago when I worked in London there was a pub round the corner from my office that served JUMBO fish finger sandwiches. Sigh. Happy days.

I also love a crisp sandwich. Salt and vinegar. Or cheese and onion. Ideally on really cheap white bread. With proper butter. And salad cream. Yeah, I know. And I’m not even sorry.

THURSDAY: giant sausage roll, new potatoes and peas

FRIDAY: beef and aduki bean stew

SATURDAY: fish finger sandwiches

SUNDAY: roast chicken, spuds, carrots, broccoli, bread sauce and gravy

MONDAY: chilli, brown rice, soured cream and grated cheddar

TUESDAY: macaroni cheese and salad

WEDNESDAY: potato-topped salmon pie and peas
