Movie night hamper

Every Christmas there’s another person to buy for. All of a sudden you have to buy hundreds of gifts at Christmas and it’s pricey. I’ve seen movie hampers in various guises all over t’internet and it seemed a good idea. It pleases adults and children alike and costs next to nothing.

What you put in it can vary on the taste of the recipient.  A bottle of wine, some popcorn, a large family bag of sweets and of course a DVD.  You could buy the DVDs from Amazon or eBay or even a boxset…DVDs today can be as little as £3 for a brand new one, you could buy one for each member of the family and still keep within a £20 budget.

You will need;

A hamper basket (try pound shops for these, they sell them in the bathroom department)

A bottle of wine/beer

One large packet of popcorn (or the microwave variety, buy a box and split the contents between three baskets)

A DVD

Some sweets/chocolates

Cheap, fun and original and something you can make yourself! Here’s one I made for my Grandma:

She loves red wine, Pringles and gory shoot ’em up movies. I added in a few extras as well but the great thing about this idea is that you can tailor it to the recipient and to your budget. Put in as much or as little as you like!

      Thank you! I can’t believe it didn’t occur to me earlier, much cheaper and far more personal!
